Thank you for your patience during this long interval between blog posts. Our third child, Valerie Inez Kreger, arrived 8 weeks early this February, and I have been taking a “maternity leave” from blog writing. Valerie spent 20 days in the NICU before coming home. She is healthy and strong. We are so grateful to God for our “feisty” little girl!
During these past few weeks, I’ve learned that there are many things I can do with a 5-year-old, 3-year-old, and newborn at home. Unfortunately, writing blog posts has not been one of them. My life is very full right now. My “convent of the heart” has expanded. The laundry basket is never empty, the house is seldom quiet, and children are waking up, crying, or getting into mischief at all hours of the day and night. Yet in spite of all the noise and chaos, I am deeply enjoying being a mother of three. πβ€οΈ
I do plan to begin blogging again soon, once life becomes a little more stable. I look forward to stringing beautiful sentences together again, once I am also stringing together a few more hours of sleep!
In the meantime, below are some pictures of little Valerie Inez and our family, for your enjoyment.
Please reach out through the comment section or Contact page if you have any questions or prayer requests. I am praying for all of you!
In Christ,
Mary Rose Kreger
It was our first time attending Mass together as a family of five.
